About the School

Dundalk High School can trace its roots back to 1888. A junior-senior high school building was opened in 1946. As the area's population grew, there was a great need for a new high school. The current school building was built in 1959.

Dundalk High School is located on Delvale Avenue in Dundalk, which is in the southeast part of Baltimore County. The building is 201,513 square feet (18,721.2 m2) on over 42 acres (170,000 m2) of land.[3]

Dundalk High School will start construction on the new building fall 2010 and should be completed in time to open school in 2013. The new building will house both Dundalk High School and Sollers Point Technical School.
